Indeed, this extravagance and excessive spending from the general wealth of the nation combined with the interest and competition in your personal matters was one of the main reasons that has lead the country to the precipice of bankruptcy under the shadows of your “wise” policy! Indeed, the squanderers are the brothers of devils.

The current crisis in the economy combined the dangers it is warning of and the results it is causing, didn’t arise without initial signs or reasons, but it was the outcome of a series of fatal actions and policies you and your ruling family are responsible for.

The most important acts, in addition to the extravagance and squandering we have mentioned, that you have committed are

  • The Deterioration Of Oil Prices
The oil prices started crashing in the 1980’s, however the effect of these prices didn’t start affecting the country’s economy in an overt manner until the 1990’s, when you repeatedly took refuge in the country’s financial reserves to cover up the constant impotence of the budget with a stupid policy that has consumed the country’s monetary reserves. This policy hasn’t put forward any plan to solve this crisis which is worsening day by day.

And as a reminder, you surely recall your full subjection to the policies of western states and their instructions to back your old friend Saddam Hussein with 25 billion dollars, combined with the increase in oil production to reduce prices in order to make up for the Iran’s damages during their war with him. This had a big role in the downfall of oil prices to its current levels, which serves the western consumers. Even though the west is careful not to kill the Saudi goose which lays eggs made of black gold, they are very careful indeed in making sure the price of those eggs is at the lowest possible level.

  • The Lack Of Serious Work In Order To Find An Alternative Source Of Income
Even though it is well known that oil is a source of income that is subjected to depletion and to fluctuation in price, and even though the country is qualified for alternative sources of income that are numerous and readily available, your system has failed without exception in developing these sources, and has kept the country relying almost fully on oil.

  • The Insane Spending On The Allied Forces During The Gulf War
Even with the financial stress that was passing on the country during the Gulf War, and even with the destruction of the Muslim forces and the Muslim people of Iraq, which was a goal for the western states before anyone else, these western states found the opportunity of their lifetime by blackmailing you and by exploiting your cowardly feelings of fear. So they insisted that you pay almost the whole amount of the war bill. You spent on this war approximately 60 billion dollars, out of which 30 billion went to the pockets of the Americans, and approximately half of that amount to the pockets of the remaining allies. The remainder was spent on commissions, deals and local bribes.

The costs of the war didn’t stop at this point either, but your solidarity with the allied states has pushed you to strike more deals that were beneficial to them after the war. Those deals cost more than 40 billion dollars, an imaginary price for military and civilian deals with the Americans alone. Additionally, the purchase of Tornado airplanes from the British, which was done as a compliment to the [former] British Prime Minister John Major, was carried out without even having the necessary man power in the country to utilize these airplanes, as it was proven during the Gulf War; in addition to their lack of efficiency which was witnessed by the engineering committee in the army, a point which will be dissected later.
